Job summary

Lendmark Financial Services is launching a two-phase Trainee program to develop future branch managers. Phase I requires relocation and includes training across consumer finance basics, credit products, and client service. Upon completion, advancement opportunities to Phase II are available.

The trainee is expected to contribute as a producing team member, build merchant relationships, and complete self-study requirements while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Relocation within 45 miles or related branch locations; willing to travel overnight as needed.
• No more than 2 years consumer finance industry work experience.
• Internal candidates must submit a separate written request for acceptance into this program.

Responsibilities

• Learn the basics of the consumer finance industry and all phases of branch operation.
• Phase I competencies: consumer finance basics, credit and non-credit products, credit extension, collection basics, account servicing, bankruptcy basics, client service, and sales involvement.
• Contribute as a fully producing member of the branch team, generating loans and servicing a portion of the portfolio.
• Meet state licensing requirements regarding sale of non-credit products and develop merchant relationships for financing with a required number of merchants.
