Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Manager-in-Training (MIT) to lead a team, ensuring safe operations and an exceptional customer experience. You will learn VIP procedures, hire and coach staff, and manage scheduling and communication to align with company standards.

The MIT will support service managers, participate in off-site trainings, and help achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets. Exempt, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn VIP processes and execute essential duties with the team.
• Hire and develop associates; ensure LMS and vendor trainings are completed.
• Schedule the team to meet customer needs across all operating hours.
• Communicate with the team via daily huddles and store meetings.
• Train and deliver the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions.
