Job summary

Ashley Furniture Homestore is hiring a Retail Warehouse Associate to manage inventory on the sales floor and collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser for optimal product placement. You will oversee warehouse operations, including loading and unloading, wrapping, and storage for customer pickup or delivery, while keeping backroom areas organized.

The role requires lifting heavy items, flexible hours including weekends, and a strong team approach.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually unload and load products repeatedly from semi-trailers.
• Maintain floor inventory by arranging showroom and setting up incoming products.
• Move products from warehouse to showroom and support delivery preparation.
• Wrap and store sold items for customer pickup or delivery.
• Communicate with Visual team to prioritize floor and merchandise setup.
• Handle clerical tasks like documenting product receipt.
• Organize and maintain warehouse; perform housekeeping and light repairs.
• Complete weekly warehouse checklist and assist with cost-reduction efforts.
