Havertys is actively seeking a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant to assist customers in selecting furniture by understanding their needs and helping create a warm home. The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and capable of both independent work and teamwork to achieve sales goals.

compensation ranges from $55,000 to $100,000+ per year with paid training and an uncapped commission structure. Benefits include 401K, health/dental/vision, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commissioned sales role preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service from contact through delivery and beyond.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with Design program support.
• Assist in completing room looks with product and service knowledge.
• Use company tablets and CRM for client information and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles and products.
