Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Orlando, FL is hiring a Sales Consultant to drive store sales through outstanding customer service and the La-Z-Boy selling process. The role includes presenting furniture, coordinating design options, and building lasting client relationships.

The position offers training pay of $16/hour for 2-6 weeks, then base pay with uncapped commissions and quarterly bonuses, with typical annual earnings of $45,000–$65,000+ depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Proven track record in furniture retail or sales is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Drives store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promotes the Design program and assists the Designer to achieve Design goals.
• Executes the La-Z-Boy selling process and delivers a positive customer experience.
• Develops relationships and follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Schedules home consultations to present room designs and coordinates installations.
• Opens and closes the store and maintains store appearance.
