Job summary

Rooms To Go is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in the United States (Austin, TX area). You will greet customers, uncover furnishing needs, and drive sales through a consultative approach using the latest sales tools and devices.

Experience is preferred but training is provided. Expect a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with earnings potential in the $70,000–$100,000 range based on commissions and location.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers
• Uncover customer's home furnishing needs to help them make their design vision a reality
• Generate sales through a consultative approach
• Build rapport with customers through strong interpersonal skills and honest conversation
• Encourage additional products to complete the room
