Job summary

La‑Z‑Boy Incorporated in Minnesota (Woodbury) is seeking a sales associate to drive store growth through exceptional customer service and expert knowledge of La‑Z‑Boy products and services.

You will promote the Design program, assist designers, and follow the proven selling process to close sales and build lasting customer relationships. The role includes training pay and uncapped commissions with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and positively influence customers.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and contributes to store sales goals.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop sales skills including needs discovery, presentations, objections handling, and follow-up.
• Schedule deliveries and maintain customer records and payments.
