Job summary

La‑Z‑Boy Incorporated is seeking a sales associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and knowledge of the La‑Z‑Boy selling process. You will promote the Design program, assist designers, and build long-term customer relationships while maximizing promotions and product knowledge.

Training pays $15/hr for 2–6 weeks with no commissions; after training, average annual earnings range from $35,000 to $55,000+ including base, bonus, and commission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Strong selling and closing skills beneficial.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient use of MS Office and related tools.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the selling process to create a positive customer experience.
• Develop sales skills and follow-up with customers post-sale.
