La-Z-Boy is hiring for an AM Shift Upholsterer in Dayton, OH. The role builds quality furniture by hand, standing up to 10 hours and lifting 50 lbs, using staple guns, frame guns, drills and air tools. You will work in a team, adjust to cell flow, and follow upholstery notes to assemble components into complete units.

The position offers a 40-hour week and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include jam-free production, safety with tools, and meeting daily goals.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Completion of in-house training curriculum.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong coordination for routine, repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
• Capacity to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Skilled use of hands for gripping, pulling, and tugging.
