Job summary

Everstory Partners is hiring a Sales Counselor in Mt. Lebanon, PA to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product decisions with care and consultative support.

You will build a sales pipeline from inbound leads, walk-ins, and referrals, while managing relationships in HubSpot CRM. This role offers uncapped commissions and a first-year earning target with comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of experience in sales or relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for local appointments.
• Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, relationships, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events and offsite appointments.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, and location leadership teams to ensure a positive experience.
