Job summary

Service Corporation International seeks an experienced Location Manager in Reno, NV to oversee client-focused funeral, cremation, and memorial services. You will direct daily operations, manage staff, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while driving profitability and community outreach.

The role requires leadership in coordinating teams, maintaining facility standards, and delivering compassionate service to families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and completion of a diploma training program in Funeral Services.
• Certification/License: appropriate state Funeral Director licensure is required.
• Experience: at least 2 years of managerial experience or 5 years of industry experience.
• Knowledge: understands market environment and competitive pricing; analyzes financial reports to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control the operational activities of the location, delivering cremation, memorialization, and disposition services.
• Aim to provide highest quality services and products while maximizing budgeted profit and maintaining positive employee relations.
• Select, train, and motivate location staff to ensure premier client family satisfaction.
• Supervise staffing and scheduling for client liaison, funeral, memorial, or other services.
• Coordinate with other Location Managers for resource utilization and cost efficiencies.
• Ensure staff understands location goals, policies, and procedures; promote teamwork and high service standards.
• Maintain clean facilities and address corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in community and local promotional efforts.
• Achieve annual financial and marketing goals in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Other duties as needed.
