Job summary

Service Corporation International in Raleigh, NC, seeks a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Pre-Arrangement Advisor team and drive monthly sales targets. You will recruit, train and coach a top-performing sales force, coaching PAAs on in-home and virtual presentations and on closing techniques.

You will oversee lead management, performance metrics, and compliance with company policies, while developing sales strategies to grow market share in the local funeral services sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent managerial experience required, field sales preferred.
• Special License as needed: Funeral Director License in specific states.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience or 5 years in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, mentor, and support a team of PAA sales activities to meet monthly objectives.
• Recruit, train, develop, and motivate top sales talent to exceed goals.
• Assist PAAs by calling leads, setting appointments, and contributing to targets.
• Act as a resource to PAAs on proposals, closing techniques, and marketing plans.
• Monitor sales performance, leads, conversion ratios, and policy compliance.
• Design and recommend sales strategies to increase market share.
• Coordinate regularly scheduled meetings to keep the team motivated and on target.
