Job summary

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of sales management experience is required.
• Experience presenting, training, coaching, and motivating salespeople is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed established location sales quotas.
• Ensure that Sales Counselors follow training manuals and company policies.
• Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to meet customer needs.
• Manage Sales Counselors as their primary reference for aftercare, prospecting, product knowledge, presentations, closing, pricing, paperwork, and customer service.
• Develop marketing programs that align with geography and community demographics.
• Analyze and monitor competitor pricing.
• Plan and participate in community events to develop prospects and awareness.
• Review pre-need and at-need contracts for compliance with laws.
• Approve discounts offered to customers.
• Prepare reports showing financial controls.
