Job summary

Meyer Brother Funeral Home seeks an experienced operations leader to manage all aspects of the funeral home, directing resources, improving service quality, and ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining compassionate family care.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in funeral home leadership, a four-year degree or equivalent, and a valid funeral director license. You will lead a dedicated team and coordinate with families, staff, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred in a funeral home.
• Current Funeral Director license is highly preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the management of resources and day-to-day operations.
• Develops and fosters professional excellence, focused on exemplary service to families.
• Identifies and improves internal practices to maximize productivity and client relations.
• Strategically aligns staff with operational, customer service, sales and community growth goals.
• Responsible for ensuring facilities, lawn and grounds are well maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
