S.E. Combined Services of Florida is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee financial performance and daily operations across multiple locations within the Funeral Home industry.

The role emphasizes budget accountability, staff development, and compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities include developing annual plans, monitoring financial goals, and guiding location managers to achieve client family satisfaction while optimizing profitability.

Qualifications

• Requires Funeral Director licensure in the applicable state
• Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science where required by state law
• Technical schooling diploma in Funeral Services/Mortuary Science preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least four (4) years managing people and budgets preferred
• At least nine (9) years industry experience with progressively increased responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan and budgets with Market Leadership
• Monitor and achieve annual financial goals and revenue targets
• Manage day-to-day operations at multiple locations and lines of business
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies
• Develop, train and supervise staff; succession planning and development
• Communicate strategies and goals to location staff and stakeholders
• Oversee safety, quality control, and facilities maintenance
