Legacy Funeral Group seeks a dedicated Funeral Home Manager to oversee daily operations, lead staff, and maintain facilities and equipment to high readiness. The role requires directing services, coordinating with agencies, and upholding industry standards.

The ideal candidate holds a licensed funeral director and embalmer credential with 5+ years of experience in funeral home operations, strong leadership, and valid driver's license. You will manage schedules and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the operations of a Funeral Home.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Must be a licensed funeral director and embalmer or the ability to obtain a state license.
• Requires graduation from an accredited school of embalming or mortuary science. A degree in business management or related field is preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities relating to funeral services- preparation of funeral home facilities, supervision of funeral directors, perform as an arranger when required.
• Direct and supervise administrative and support services; approve expenditures and manage receivables.
• Plan and implement strategies to grow the client base, including marketing involvement.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies and service organizations as needed.
• Represent the company on follow-up services, including complaints, legal activity, and contracts.
• Administer staff work schedules.
• Coordinate with funeral service vendors and supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of funeral industry laws and policies.
• May perform embalming and other tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
