Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least two years’ experience guiding staff and communicating expectations.
• Funeral Director license as required by state law.
• Budgeting and expense control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan and budget with Market Leadership.
• Monitor financial trends with Finance and manage goals.
• Approve expenditures and control overtime expenses.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure on-time services.
• Collaborate with local management on improvements and needs.
• Engage in community and local promotional activities.
• Maintain facilities and budget for repairs and upgrades.
• Plan annual initiatives affecting resources across locations.
• Lead change initiatives and drive efficiency improvements.
• Screen candidates and hire/promote staff; support development.
• Build strong cross-organizational relationships.
