Job summary

SCI is seeking a Funeral Home Manager to oversee daily operations, drive financial performance, and deliver exceptional client service at a single location. You will lead budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory compliance while fostering a high-performing staff culture in a community-focused environment.

You will manage patient and family services, coordinate funeral arrangements, and champion continuous process improvements across operations and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical funeral education preferred.
• Funeral Director license required by state board.
• At least five years of industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience guiding staff and budgeting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a single Funeral Home location and drive profitable case volume growth.
• Develop annual business plan and budget with leadership; monitor financial trends and goals.
• Oversee scheduling, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence.
• Lead staff development, provide feedback, and manage recruitment.
• Represent the location in community activities and maintain facility standards.
