SCI is seeking a seasoned leader to manage financial and operational responsibilities at our Fort Wayne location. The role directs financial goals, budgeting, and day-to-day activities while upholding regulatory standards and service quality.

The position requires extensive leadership experience, budgeting expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to guide staff, coordinate with market leadership, and ensure community engagement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical diploma in Funeral Services or Mortuary Science preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science or related field required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan and budgets with Market Leadership; translate goals into local action.
• Collaborate with Finance Field Manager to monitor financial trends and drive goals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations; ensure on-time services; resolve escalated issues; ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with local Management for resources; work with Market Leadership on process and technology needs.
• Participate in community organizations as part of the location's promotional efforts.
• Ensure facilities and grounds are well-maintained and budgeted for repairs and improvements.
• Plan annual initiatives affecting resources or goals; negotiate solutions with stakeholders.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiencies and adapt to major changes.
