Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical diploma in Funeral Services or Mortuary Science preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science or other degree as required by state/province law.
• Funeral Director license as required by state/province law.
• At least five (5) years’ industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least two (2) years’ experience guiding staff and communicating expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan and budget with Market Leadership.
• Prepare annual operating and personnel budgets.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure goals are met.
• Oversee financial, production and revenue goals and expenditures.
• Lead staff development and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Plan and implement community engagement and staffing strategies.
