Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Operations Coordinator to provide comprehensive fundraising and operational support across multi-million-dollar portfolios, including individual, corporate, and event channels. You will ensure efficient execution of operations, readiness during peak workloads, and quality customer service.

Responsibilities include fundraising event support, CRM data handling, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of event support, fundraising operations, or equivalent administrative experience; 5+ years for lead-level scope may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundraising and event execution support with managers to ensure revenue targets; manages relationships with participants, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors.
• Maintains organized task and reminder systems; tracks deadlines and follow-through to support revenue growth and operational excellence.
• Performs financial/administrative support including processing donations and payments, tracking expenses, and policy compliance.
• Supports CRM data needs by inputting info, generating reports, and informing decision-making.
• Acts as a subject matter expert in tools/platforms; contributes to training and projects.
• Provides volunteer/leadership support including recruitment, communications, scheduling, and stewardship.
