American Cancer Society, Inc. is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Development to provide fundraising and operational support across multiple portfolios and teams.

The role may be embedded within a team or dispatched based on business needs, ensuring continuity of support during peak workloads. The position emphasizes customer service, relationship management, data reporting, and contributing to training and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in fundraising operations or admin.
• 3+ years of event support, fundraising operations, or comparable administrative support; 5+ years for lead level may be preferred.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide fundraising and event execution support to ensure best-in-class execution and achievement of revenue targets; support planning, timelines, logistics, and high-impact opportunities.
• Manage operational systems and workflow; maintain organized task/reminder systems and monitor deadlines.
• Perform financial and administrative support activities including processing donations, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Support CRM data needs and generate reports to support revenue performance and decision-making.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in tools, platforms, and fundraising programs; mentor/onboard coordinators.
• Provide volunteer and leadership support including committee/board support and volunteer engagement.
