Job summary

The NASCAR Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising initiatives and help achieve annual revenue goals. This role manages online auctions, assists with fundraising events and donor engagement, coordinates volunteers, and maintains accurate fundraising data and reports.

You will work closely with the Development team to plan and execute campaigns, analyze donor trends, and ensure donor satisfaction while traveling occasionally to events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Two to three years of experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with donors, partners, volunteers, vendors, and employees at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company-provided technology.
• Experience with CRM systems, database management, or data entry preferred.
• Ability to prepare reports and perform basic calculations (percentages, commissions, proportions).
• A passion for fundraising and donor engagement.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage The NASCAR Foundation’s online auction program: procure items, post items, closeout, fulfill, and ship.
• Prepare itineraries and communications for race-experience winners.
• Develop a bi-monthly newsletter for online auction donors.
• Maintain monthly sales records for entry into the Aegis CRM donor database.
• Identify and implement ideas to meet annual online auction revenue goals.
• Support fundraising events like Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament and other events.
• Assist with third-party fundraising events and silent auctions.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for at-track and off-track activities.
• Support major-gift, monthly-giving, and direct-mail initiatives via donor research and cultivation.
• Research prospective donors and compile data for donor-development efforts.
• Maintain donor relationships through thank-you notes and stewardship calls.
