Job summary

Nashville State Community College Foundation seeks a Development Associate to provide administrative support across fundraising initiatives and operations. You will handle donor and alumni records, gift processing, and contribute to communications and events.

Key tasks include coordinating payments for student support programs, assisting grant proposals and stewardship reports, and maintaining accurate financial and meeting records.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required; two years of admin experience preferred in higher education, fundraising, or nonprofit.
  • Experience in donor/alumni record-keeping and gift processing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Banner and Raisers Edge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Nashville State Community College Foundation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Foundation team and handle confidential information.
  • Maintain donor/alumni records, perform gift entry, reporting, and gift acknowledgments.
  • Coordinate and process payments for student support programs (Beyond Financial Aid, Nashville GRAD, Nashville Flex).
  • Support communications, publications, newsletters, social media, and website updates.
  • Assist in grant applications, proposals, stewardship reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Schedule Foundation conference room, coordinate team meetings, and arrange board/donor events.
  • Reconcile the Foundation purchasing card monthly.
