The American Heart Association in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Development Director to drive revenue for Go Red for Women campaigns. The role focuses on securing corporate sponsorships and donors, developing proposals, and growing volunteer leadership.

This is an office-based role with a hybrid schedule and local travel expected. You will plan, implement, and evaluate campaigns, collaborate with partners, and support Go Red initiatives while building a strong donor network and advancing the

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or related field.
• University/College degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel locally up to 75% and occasional overnight trips.
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorships and donations.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective sponsors and donors.
• Develop and present proposals to secure revenue and volunteer engagement.
• Recruit executive volunteer leadership and committees.
• Coordinate the event auction and lead volunteers.
• Grow individual membership for the Cor Vitae giving society and plan engagement events.
• Plan and implement events in collaboration with partners.
• Work with Communications to support campaign plans.
