Job summary

Heifer International seeks a Data and Operations Associate to strengthen relationship-based fundraising. You will manage donor, prospect, portfolio, and engagement data with accuracy, perform audits, and support CRM improvements. This hands-on role emphasizes data cleanliness and cross-team collaboration to enhance fundraising outcomes.

The position focuses on data quality, reporting, and research to help fundraisers plan effectively, track progress, and secure donor support for global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, fundraising, computer/data science.
• Five or more years of experience in donor operations or data analysis.
• Experience managing fundraising data within CRMs like Salesforce or comparable platform.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with development or fundraising data operations.
• Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Experience in nonprofit or fundraising operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor prospect and portfolio records with accuracy; support data entry and reconciliations.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses; explain trends clearly.
• Conduct donor/prospect research and summarize findings for qualification.
• Support tools adoption and process improvements; assist with special projects.
