The Analyst I (Analyst) works under the supervision of the Supervisor I and is responsible for performing a variety of complex evaluative, technical, and analytical staff services tasks. These tasks may include program evaluation and planning, reconciliation of financial transactions, and other related work. The Analyst administers funding opportunities and grant solicitations by formulating and updating procedures, performing funding and grant application evaluations, and make recommendations on program-related problems.
The Analyst must exercise independent judgement and discretion, coordinating their work with members of the Funding Team and other staff with the Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) and Department of Industrial Relations, following the supervision of the Supervisor I. This role requires the ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders and to communicate effectively with them in a timely and accurate manner. The Analyst must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and perform duties with a high degree of accuracy.

The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control Monday through Friday. Air-conditioned, high-rise building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Indoor cubicle office environment for several hours a day. In cumbent will be in a stationary position for long periods of time. The incumbent is required to work extensively on the computer, as necessary, for email communication, research, drafting performance management documents, evaluations, annual reviews, and other administrative duties. Telework may apply according to current State telework policy.

Question 2. Reconciling and Auditing Information: Describe your experience reconciling or auditing financial information from finical records, invoices, forms, or other sources. How did you recognize and correct incorrect or misinput information? Did you have to communicate with customers or co-workers as part of the reconciliation process? If yes, how did you communicate with them in such a way that helped them understand what needed to be fixed?
