Job summary

FlatRock Capital Partners in the United States is seeking a motivated Funding Associate to drive business development and strengthen client relationships in a fast-paced lending environment.

You will source and close opportunities for term loans, equipment financing, bridge notes, and lines of credit, with uncapped commissions and on-target earnings. Comprehensive training and mentorship support career growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or inside sales.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calling/emailing to warm leads.
• Utilize CRM software to track deal flow, manage pipelines, and report on sales activities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service to develop a robust book of business.
• Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on business development initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
• Underwriting applications to generate approvals and generate offers.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
