Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fund Operations professional to support the day-to-day financial and compliance activities for mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and business development companies.

You will coordinate with investment advisors, custodians, transfer agents, fund accountants, attorneys and auditors to ensure smooth fund operations. The role involves overseeing budgets, analyzing expense trends, and contributing to financial reporting for shareholders, with exposure to SEC/GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day financial and compliance operations of mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds and/or BDC clients.
• Primary contact with fund clients including coordination with investment advisors, custodians, transfer agents, fund accountants, attorneys and auditors.
• Monitor and review fund budgets based on contractual agreements, fee proposals and expense trends.
• Prepare and review financial statements for client shareholders and test/review portfolio compliance with SEC, GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
