Job summary

Casper College Foundation and Alumni Association is seeking an Accountant to support fiscal operations, funding activities, investment management, and reporting. You will process daily transactions, reconcile accounts, code expenses, and assist in budgeting with the CFO and Executive Director.

This role involves compiling schedules for audits and Form 990 data, preparing annual reports, and ensuring timely, accurate reporting for hundreds of donor funds.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Minimum of 3 years professional accounting experience.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting for a financially complex organization.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process, record, and reconcile daily financial transactions following GAAP.
• Review and reconcile general ledger, bank and investment accounts monthly.
• Prepare journal entries and annual reports.
• Assist in budgeting and audit preparations.
• Maintain filing systems and handle 1099 filing.
• Support CFO with financial reporting and donor fund tracking.
• Support events and confidentiality obligations.
