Casper College (WY) is seeking an Accountant to support fiscal operations of the Foundation, including fundraising, investments, and program budgets. You will process daily transactions, prepare journals, and assist in audits and Form 990 data preparation.

You will work with the CFO and Executive Director, handle 1099 reporting, and contribute to reporting for state and institutional needs. This role requires confidentiality and accuracy.

Formación

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge to assist in full-cycle accounting for a financially complex organization.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Experience with office equipment and data entry tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Process daily financial transactions and post revenue and expenses.
• Reconcile general ledger, bank accounts, and investment accounts monthly.
• Prepare journal entries and routine reports in financial systems.
• Assist in budgeting and audit preparation.
• Record investment earnings and track donor fund allocations.
• Code accounts payable/receivable and monitor cash balances.
• Support CFO in compiling annual reports and Form 990 data.
• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and fiduciary controls.
• Support special projects and foundation events as needed.
