Job summary

Belltower Fund Group, AngelList’s funds services division, is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Associate to support accounting, valuation, and reporting for 27,000+ funds on the AngelList platform. You will review post-close actions, prepare financial statements with auditors, and ensure GAAP treatment while collaborating with GPs and LPs.

This role emphasizes automation and process improvement, with opportunities for growth and equity as part of the Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years in financial services, fund administration or VC/PE accounting.
• CPA license preferred.
• Strong communication with portfolio companies and lead investors.
• Exceptional attention to detail with process discipline.
• Willingness to work hands-on with data and processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate portfolio company events and data to determine valuation actions.
• Prepare audited and unaudited financial statements and liaise with auditors.
• Ensure GAAP accounting treatment for investments and related analyses.
• Collaborate with engineering on automation and process improvements.
• Be responsible for specific team functions and workflows.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.
