Job summary

The Fund Accounting Senior Associate at Belltower Fund Group, part of AngelList's services division, will support accounting, valuation, and reporting for 27,000+ funds on the AngelList platform. You will review post-close actions, process valuation updates, and respond to investor inquiries, interfacing with GPs and LPs.

Role requires 3-4+ years in finance fund administration or public accounting, CPA preferred, with strong detail orientation and process discipline; hybrid work model with NYC

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of demonstrated operational excellence in the financial sector, including fund administration or public accounting focused on VC/PE clients.
• CPA license strongly preferred or significant accounting credentials.
• Strong communication with portfolio companies and investors; meticulous, process-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate portfolio company events and data to determine valuation actions.
• Assist in preparation of audited and unaudited financial statements; coordinate with audit firms.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant accounting for portfolio investments; evaluate special situations.
• Collaborate with engineering to push for automation and process improvements.
• Be responsible for specific team functions and workflows; work on ad hoc projects.
