Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to join its Alternative Investments team in Oaks, PA (Remote). You will oversee accounting and administration for hedge and private equity funds, manage client relationships, and supervise fund accounting analysts.

Responsibilities include NAV reconciliations, audits, GAAP compliance, and process improvements while mentoring junior staff and supporting career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• At least 2 years of fund services experience, alternative investments preferred.
• Strong accounting, analytical and client-service skills.

Our client, a Financial Services, is looking to hire a Supervisor/Manager- Fund Accounting Alternative Investments in Oaks, PA (REMOTE)

Salary Range- $80K - $114K Base

Role Overview

We are seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to join its growing Alternative Investment Funds team. The role will oversee accounting and administration for hedge and private equity funds, manage client relationships, and supervise fund accounting analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and review accounting records for hedge and private equity funds.
• Perform NAV reconciliations, pricing, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate year-end audits and support GAAP compliance.
• Communicate with investment managers and clients regarding transactions, reconciliations, and deliverables.
• Review analysts' work and ensure accuracy and timely completion of deliverables.
• Train, mentor, and supervise Fund Accounting Analysts.
• Assist with performance reviews, hiring, career development, and team management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years of fund services experience; alternative investments preferred.
• Strong accounting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong client-service and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
