Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Fund Accounting Supervisor to join its Alternative Investments team in Oaks, PA (Remote). You will oversee accounting and administration for hedge and private equity funds, manage client relationships, and supervise fund accounting analysts.

Responsibilities include NAV reconciliations, audits, GAAP compliance, and process improvements while mentoring junior staff and supporting career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• At least 2 years of fund services experience, alternative investments preferred.
• Strong accounting, analytical and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review accounting records for hedge and private equity funds.
• Perform NAV reconciliations, pricing, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate year-end audits and GAAP compliance support.
• Communicate with investment managers and clients on transactions and deliverables.
• Review analysts' work and supervise Fund Accounting Analysts.
• Train, mentor, and manage the Fund Accounting team.
• Assist with performance reviews and hiring decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
