Job summary

PrideGlobal is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and client service for private equity and hedge fund clients in Oaks, PA. Lead a team, manage reconciliations, valuations, reporting, and audits, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and AML policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years in the fund services industry with alternative investment experience.
  • 2+ years supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience with private equity and/or hedge fund accounting.
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting, reconciliations, valuations, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-service skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work on-site in Oaks, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for clients and provide expertise in alt fund accounting and administration.
  • Manage and delegate daily accounting responsibilities across the fund accounting team.
  • Oversee fund accounting operations, including reconciliations, valuations, financial reporting, and accounting packages.
  • Review month-end valuations and reports prior to distribution to clients.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and setup of new funds and clients.
  • Support year-end audits and ensure fund records comply with GAAP accounting standards.
  • Perform due diligence and ensure AML compliance.
  • Review fund transactions and resolve accounting, documentation, and operational issues.
  • Work with investment managers, transfer agents, internal teams, technology support, and vendors to resolve client and production issues.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding transactions, reporting, financial statements, and fund administration.
  • Conduct performance reviews, one-on-ones, training, and career development for team members.
  • Assist with staffing requirements, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Support business development and relationship management teams with prospect calls, client visits, and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and client service.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and client service for private equity and hedge fund clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a fund accounting professional with management experience to take on a leadership role supporting alternative investment funds, financial reporting, valuations, audits, and client relationships.

You will work closely with investment managers, internal teams, auditors, transfer agents, and other service providers to ensure accurate and timely fund accounting and administration.

Responsibilities Include
