Yoh is seeking a Scientist – Functional Proteomics for an anticipated opportunity in Seattle, WA. You will design quantitative proteomics experiments and translate data into meaningful biological insights to support drug-discovery research.

The role focuses on target identification/validation, compound characterization, and mechanism‑of‑action studies, with collaboration across experimental biology, computational science, and drug-discovery teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mass spectrometry proteomics experience.
• Strong experimental design with appropriate controls and replicates.
• Ability to translate complex proteomics data into biology.
• Collaborates across experimental biology, computational science, and drug discovery.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute quantitative and functional proteomics experiments.
• Develop workflows for protein extraction, digestion, enrichment and MS analysis.
• Evaluate protein abundance, activity, localization, and responses to compounds.
• Establish controls, replicates, and normalization strategies.
• Collaborate with computational scientists to analyze datasets.
• Integrate proteomics with genomic and pharmacological data.
• Present findings to cross-functional teams and contribute to publications.
