Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a Fun Zone Lift Operations Lead to supervise beginner and fun zone lifts, coach staff, and coordinate cross-departmental efforts for a safe, welcoming experience. You will help train lift crews and partner with the Learning Center to ensure lessons begin smoothly.

The role blends hands-on lift operations with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced mountain setting, requiring clear communication, initiative, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to maintain a dependable attendance record.
• Ability to maintain flexible work availability; including weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season.
• Reliable transportation for winter road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations at beginner and fun zone lifts.
• Train and support lift crews and coordinate staffing.
• Manage guest flow during peak periods and troubleshoot ticket access issues.
• Collaborate with the Learning Center to ensure lessons start smoothly.
• Communicate, plan, and anticipate needs to support teams.
