Job summary

Mt. Hood Skibowl in Government Camp, OR seeks an experienced lift maintenance leader to supervise and direct the Lift Maintenance Department. You will oversee planning, staffing and operations to ensure safe, dependable lift service across the resort.

The role requires extensive ski-industry experience, 7–10 years of management, and collaboration with HR for staffing and development. A Bachelor’s degree or related field is a plus and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous ski industry experience with a strong reputation and understanding of lift operations and maintenance practices and concepts.
• 7 to 10 years of large-scale management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day administration and supervision of the Lift Maintenance Department.
• In cooperation with HR, manage recruiting, staffing, training, retention, evaluation and motivation of personnel to ensure effective operations.
• Develop a dynamic PM plan to effectively maintain all lifts owned and operated at Resort.
• Establishes best practices, works under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Maintain understanding of technological and service advances within the ski industry related to responsibilities.
