Mt. Hood Meadows is hiring a Lift Operations Lead to support lift crews, promote safety, and deliver safe, smooth, and welcoming rides at the resort.

The role involves coaching Attendants, Operators, and Access staff, overseeing daily lift operations, and coordinating breaks and pre‑operational checks in a fast-paced mountain environment. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong communication, and a passion for guest service, with the ability to work outdoors in winter

Qualifications

• A minimum age of 18 is required at hire.
• A valid driver license and reliable transportation are needed.
• Experience leading lift operations or similar teams is preferred.
• Excellent guest service and English communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions and stand up to 10 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Lift Attendants, Operators, and Access personnel.
• Train and coach teammates; supervise lift operations and safety.
• Coordinate daily lift operations, breaks, and pre-operational checks.
• Assist snow removal and other front-line projects as needed.
• Maintain safety culture and exceptional guest service across mountain operations.
