Job summary

Partnerize is seeking an SRE to join the Technical Operations team, focusing on building and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure. You will work with business, development and IT functions to ensure reliability and performance of distributed applications.

The role involves supporting and delivering projects, improving platform services, and engaging in on-call rotations. A passion for problem-solving and ongoing learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PHP).
• Knowledge of automated deployment and configuration management (Ansible, Docker, Terraform).
• Awareness of AWS and other cloud infrastructure services.
• Linux system administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications.
• Measure and optimise system performance, aiming to push capabilities forward and anticipate customer needs.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our software solutions.
• Partner with development teams to improve services through testing and release procedures.
• Participate in system design, platform management, and capacity planning.
• Coordinate with development and tech teams to manage technical issues and projects.
• Deliver technical projects in a timely manner.
• Act as escalation for support incidents while maintaining quality.
• Drive continuous improvement, continuous delivery and continuous integration.
• Participate in the On-Call Rotation.
