Job summary

KnowBe4 is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Remote) to ensure reliable, secure and scalable platforms. Work with engineers in a fast-paced environment to improve safety and reliability of complex distributed services, using AWS, Terraform, OpenTofu, and GitLab.

The ideal candidate thrives on new AWS service releases, keeps up with industry trends, and has excellent time-management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus 8 years experience.
• Experience architecting high-scale AWS patterns.
• CI/CD workflows design and implementation (GitLab preferred).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Self-management of time across projects.
• Ability to debug and explain complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and plan prevention for production incidents.
• Design globally distributed systems and processes.
• Identify deficiencies in applications and infrastructure and fix them.
• Define tailored solutions for complex problems and share with teammates.
• Contribute to technology advancements; may lead sub-projects.
• Translate strategic goals into operational plans.
