Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will help maintain platform stability, strengthen security, and support infrastructure in a collaborative engineering environment.

The role requires 2+ years in SRE/DevOps, Linux administration, scripting, and familiarity with patch and vulnerability management. Splunk experience and exposure to NIST-like standards are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration and scripting.
• Familiarity with patch management, vulnerability management, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production environments for reliability, availability, and performance.
• Execute patching and vulnerability remediation, and hardening initiatives.
• Troubleshoot with Linux CLI and perform day-to-day system administration tasks.
• Develop automation and DevOps solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation and assist with incident response and RCA.
