Job summary

SolidProfessor is seeking an Instructional Designer for a fully remote role. You will craft engaging learning experiences, write scripts, and translate SME content into clear lessons for engineers and designers who use CAD software.

You’ll collaborate with Production, maintain high learning outcomes, and adapt quickly in a fast-growing e-learning environment that values people, excellence, and agility.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of writing experience in a technical field or capacity.
• General knowledge of Engineering or CAD processes and workflows.
• Ability to write effectively and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous, self-driven, detail-oriented with time management.
• Experience with E-learning content creation, specifically online teaching.
• Ability to work in CAD software to manipulate and setup files as deliverables.
• Knowledge of Solidworks, Revit, Mastercam, and similar software.
• Understanding of E-learning content tools such as Articulate Storyline.
• Focus on learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret information from SMEs and coordinate with Production.
• Elevate the learning library with learner-centric designs.
