BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Home Care Field Specialist to deliver high-quality home care to clients with diverse needs. The role requires comfort with Hoyer lifts, reliable transportation, and a valid license and insurance.

Expect 40 guaranteed hours per week with a 60-hour weekly availability to cover flexible scheduling across service areas. Travel will cover Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Burnsville, and Bloomington.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance client lives.

• Transport clients to appointments or social outings when needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Collaborate with RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Home Care Field Specialist to join our team. This full-time role requires providing high-quality home care services to clients with diverse and often complex needs. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with Hoyer lifts and have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance. This position offers 40 guaranteed hours per week, with a required 60-hour weekly availability to ensure flexible scheduling and coverage. Must be comfortable traveling Throughout the twin cities as we service clients in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Burnsville, and Bloomington.

Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
