Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, seeks a dedicated CNA to support patient care under RN supervision. Duties include vital signs, patient identification, and assistance with treatments while maintaining PFCC principles and safety.

The role requires English proficiency, CNA/EMT background, and BLS certification. Responsibilities include hands-on patient care, communication with families and staff, and rotating to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA credential, EMT, or clinical healthcare experience required.
• Basic healthcare-related training or education considered a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with patient care tasks and information reporting.
• Record vital signs and ensure accurate patient identification per policy.
• Support safe delivery of care and communicate with patients and families.
• Cover duties at the BA desk as needed and participate in patient handoffs.
• Relocate or rotate to meet patient care needs; participate in team rounds.
• Assist with non-therapeutic tasks under supervision and handle med deliveries per protocol.
