Job summary

Collaborative Support Programs of NJ (CSPNJ) seeks a full-time Wellness Mentor to lead and model wellness principles within its Wellness Center. You will collaborate with the Center Manager and members to plan daily operations, provide referrals to recovery and community services, and support overall center functions while fostering an inclusive, trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• CRSP or CPRS certification preferred; equivalent peer certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and virtual platforms.
• Knowledge of wellness and community resources in the region.
• Willingness to disclose mental health/substance use experience.
• Lived experience with mental health or addiction issues is valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct day-to-day Wellness Center operations with members.
• Provide information and referrals to wellness, recovery, and community services.
• Collaborate with Manager and members to meet local needs.
• Act as a leader and role model for members and visitors.
• Engage in outreach to connect with community resources.
