Job summary

East End Veterinary Medical Centre in Shadyside is expanding our reception team. We are a busy multi-doctor practice seeking a full-time, high-energy individual who can multitask and stay organized while delivering excellent client service.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, processing payments over the phone, taking prescription details, maintaining medical records, and communicating with veterinarians and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills are essential.
• Experience in veterinary reception is welcome but not required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with veterinarians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Schedule various types of appointments.
• Check in/out patients and process payments.
• Provide basic pet information to clients.
• Take prescription information and maintain medical records.
• Confirm appointments and call clients for updates.
• Create new client and patient charts.
• Monitor emails and faxes and approve online medical orders.
