Columbia Bank is seeking a Universal Banker I for Colonia, NJ. This full-time role provides a full range of banking services to retail customers, both transactional and non-transactional, and aims to offer personal banking options while delivering traditional services.

The position requires handling deposits, opening accounts, cross-selling products, and assisting customers with questions and online banking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience required.
• Interpersonal, time management, organizational and PC skills a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Processes all banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and more.
• Opens new deposit and checking accounts and explains products to customers.
• Discovers personal financial needs and cross-sells bank products and services.
• Performs end-of-day procedures and maintains branch records.
