Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Driver) for Greenwood, IN. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence at a technology-focused site.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work a shifting schedule. CPR is preferred; background checks and drug screening are standard parts of employment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with credential verification and access-control processes.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and security-related concerns for leadership and site contacts.
